This is your realname, dont put your realname there however, change it to some quote or something "i am great" or anything daft like that.

That would be an ident, depending on your client/script you can change this in the options, this appears before the @ - some clients call this an email address.

This can be a common problem for those using a router or on a BNC - you will need to open ports and possibly need to use port forwarding to manage this. If your on a direct connection to the internet verify your firewall is permitting your client to send files.

in your client type /server irc.icq.com you can also put a port (optional) 6666,6667,6668,6669,7000 ie: /server irc.icq.com 7000
