How can I be an ircop?

Basically you cant. IRCops are chosen from people in #chanops, if a place is to become vacant it will be someone from there.

Please send an email to ircops -at- chanops -dot- org

with
your regular nick, asl, where your from and languages spoken
- note as per the FAQ we dont take ircops - only chanops.

I would suggest you doing the same as the comment above, drop
them an email with the required details, note we dont take
ircops outside of chanops and even at that happens once a
blue moon, if your interested in chanops - email, thanks!

What about #ophelp? Ive been there for a while...............

#ophelp and #chanops are 2 diffirent things altogether. anyone who wants to be a
chanop has to have their name put on the chanop list and this doesnt guarantee
anyone they will get chanops, it only lets us know that you are interested in
being an op. And anyone who thinks being an ophelper pushes them up the oplist
is wrong

I think its already explained above that you need to contact an ircop we are
usually in #ophelp
