Setting the ~r extended ban is quite different to a normal ban, where as it does not use nick!ident@host ban lines it only uses realnames. However there is a slight issue in that fact that realnames allow spaces where as bans do not. Setting a ban on a realname is simple: /mode #channel +b ~r:realnameHowever when a realname makes use of spaces you should replace said spaces with underscores: /mode #channel +b ~r:realname_with_spacesunderscores are in terms of realname bans both underscores and spaces. It should also be noted that extended bans do not work on users with +vhoaq
