changes
There have been several changes introduced recently to the structure of chanops.org some of which will effect the daily running of the site a basic list of major changes are listed below, this is however an ongoing list and will be added to as and when its possible Laughing

  • New structured FAQs
  • News made central
  • no longer allows user registrations/logins
  • New forums
  • Simpler browsing
  • More document based

The system is working on a no -login basis for normal users to not only make the site lighter but allow us to continue to provide what this site is here to do, provide information. We have however added a set of forums which can be accessed within a frame on this site or directly by going to http://chanops.org/forums/

All complaints and information regarding this site chanops/ophelp or just anything support wise should be thrown over to that site, this one remaining free of users, free to browse that is.

i was z-lined yesterday, (as dxzl in #20_something)... i worked one week
straight on some software changes to YahCoLoRiZe to help it work with mIRC... i
give this program away and have worked on it for years.

i got kicked/banned
from #20_something August 6, 2008 for telling someone about a .exe program (as i
recall) nothing related to my own software...

i remember the
"Atilla-the-bad- op-hun" daze from Undernet!

Well you should have certainly been warned for posting links or if someone asked
for the link you should not have been banned. I can only apologise if you were
straight banned, please contact an ircop when you are online and speak to us
about it, letting us know which op banned you so we can inform them of the
proper procedure for banning for spam
