MemoServ & HostServ

MemoServ sends offline messages to registered nicks. HostServ gives you a nicer hostname (a vhost) shown instead of your cloak.

MemoServ — all commands (13)

Every command starts with /msg MemoServ. Both you and the receiver need a registered nick.

/msg ChanServ OP #chan — type the black part exactly; replace the orange part with your own channel, nickname or text.

Leave a message for someone who is offline
/msg MemoServ SEND nick text

Read a memo (try NEW for unread ones)

/msg MemoServ …	What it does
`SEND nick text`	Send a memo (offline message) to a registered nick.
`SEND #chan text`	Send a memo to a channel's ops.
`LIST`	List your memos.
`READ number`	Read a memo (also NEW, LAST, ALL).
`DEL number`	Delete a memo (also LAST, ALL).
`CANCEL nick`	Take back the last memo you sent if it's unread.
`CHECK nick`	See whether your last memo was read.
`INFO`	How many memos you have and your limits.
`IGNORE ADD nick`	Block memos from someone.
`IGNORE DEL nick`	Unblock.
`IGNORE LIST`	Show blocked nicks.
`SET NOTIFY ON`	Tell you about new memos.
`SET LIMIT number`	Maximum memos you keep.

Every command starts with /msg HostServ. Requests are checked by network staff.

/msg HostServ …	What it does
`REQUEST vhost`	Ask staff for a virtual host (a nicer hostname).
`ON`	Turn your vhost on.
`OFF`	Turn it off for this session.
`GROUP`	Use the same vhost for every nick in your account.
`OFFERLIST`	Show vhosts you can take yourself (if staff offer any).
`OFFERLIST TAKE number`	Take one of them.
